Story Spine

Act 1
Once upon a time… There was a dark elf who trusted no one.
Minor Beats:
Mc was told of tales of adventurers working together and trusting each other
MC starts with group of adventurers who need his help - Dialogue with adventurers
He believes he can trust them, but is betrayed - Dialogue by himself of being betrayed and alone, to not trust anyone.

Every day… He works odd jobs to make money
Minor Beats:
Learns to work by himself
Is lonely and trusts no one
Struggles comedically

Until one day… a chance encounter with another species suggests an opportunity to increase his fortune

Minor Beats:
Sees spaceship in the sky
Is approached by a space wizard
Is told of a great evil that wants to destroy everything in its path(rework this idea)
Is asked for help and knows he has to

Act 2
Because of that… he hires a crew to join him on his (money-making) adventure (in space)

Minor Beats:
Looks for crew but can’t seem to trust anyone
Wizard has to help hire odd characters
goes into space

Because of that… They encounter an evil force that must be stopped at all costs

Minor Beats:
Lands on planet
Fights with creatures
Tries to work with team but decides to fight alone

Because of that… the dark elf tries to prove himself a hero by fighting it alone

Minor Beats:
Plans to fight evil monster with magic spell
They get separated and the plan fails
The MC tries to fight the evil monster by himself but fails

Act 3
Until finally… he realizes his strength alone can’t defeat it and he needs the help of others if everyone is to survive

Minor Beats:
Team finds him and helps him
They have to distract the monster to set up the spell
The work together and get the spell ready

And ever since then… The Dark elf learns to rely on his crew and together they travel to other worlds in need of saving

Minor Beats:
The joke about how fun that was and that they show do it again
A person informs them that that was not the only monster and there are other planets that need help
The team decides to adventure together to save the other planets

The moral of the story is… Sometimes you need to trust others and know when to accept help.

Minor Beats:
The crew head off to the ship
The MC has a little reservations on helping others
The Witch assures him that they’ll be okay as long as they work together
