Once upon a time, a boy lived on a spaceship his whole life, Tim. Every day he was treated like a test subject. Every day he would ask himself questions about what he was doing on the spaceship. Until one day, a button chased by aliens is found. The humans believe that the button is a weapon. Tim believes that by proving himself by protecting the button he will be treated better. So he tells everyone of his plan to stop the aliens and no one cares. Tim steals a ship anyway, flies to the aliens, and is captured quickly. While confined on the alien ship Tim learns it is no use impressing those who do not care about him and finds the courage to break out. He faints from exhaustion and is awoken by the aliens speaking to him. They apologize to Tim telling him that they never wanted war with humans. they explain that the button has information on a planet that they could call home. They tell Tim that they will call off the fighting and they will send Tim home. So when Tim is sent back he decides to press the button as the spaceship was never his home. he comes back to the aliens with knowledge of Earth and together they find a new home.
