Once upon a time, there was a girl named Olivia.
She lives in a distant land, where technology is used all the time for every single task to control everything even the environment.
One day just like every other day Olivia was getting ready for school when weird things started to happen to her making her late for the annual volunteer day, leaving her no choice but to pick the last spot at the library, with another student she has to help the librarian, books are historical objects now.
When some shelves are knocked down Olivia finds a book and once she picks it up a door is revealed, with curiosity she opens it.

Olivia the librarian and the other student enters the door to find themselves in the middle of the jungle. When suddenly a sound and strong winds scare them off making them run through the forest.
Once they realized that nothing else is moving they go back and find that the door disappeared together with the book pages.

While searching for the book, they see a boy on the top of a tall tree, he looks at them and with a big smile on his face, he jumps off it.
The boy is Pie he was on his way with friends to an important part of the forest to protect the spirit tree since people are invading the forest and destroying it when they heard a noise and he decides to go back and check.
Olivia has an idea of walking with him since none of their electronics works in there, this way she might find parts of the book and find the door back home.

Once they're almost at the tree they feel happy for collecting the pages of the book, when they arrive they meet Pie's friends and see that they're doing all they can to protect the tree.
That's when they realized that the creatures that they collect along the way are the forest protectors and now they need to make a decision but by releasing them they might not be able to go back home at that moment.
They think about how much they learned and how important the forest is, something that now they wish they could have at home, so they decide to stay and help.

With all the help they got they manage to scare off those people and keep the forest standing. Olivia is happy for them but can't help to feel a little bit sad because she lost her chance to go back home.
That's when the forest protectors gather together and make the door appear before they head to the forest disappearing.

The new friends say goodbye to everyone and enter the door, on the other side is the library all clean but one book on the floor. Once Olivia picks it up to put it back a few seeds fall from it.

They use the seeds to secretly grow a garden on the rooftop of the library and every day after school they meet there to see the plants grow and bring books in the hope to open new doors.
