ACT 1
1) Once upon a time there was a comedic talking sword that wished he was a paintbrush.
A. The Talking Sword originally belonged to a Princess that loved painting.
B. One day she disappeared and the Talking Sword was abandoned in an attic.
C. A Slime Creature finds the sword, cleans him up, and they become friends.
2) Every day the talking sword went on missions with his owner, the Slime Creature, to clear their land of giant pesky bugs that were always trying to raid their village’s farmland.
A. Despite all their hard work, the Human Villagers always looked down on them. B. Slimes were the weakest creatures in the monster kingdom.
C. To make things more complicated, the bugs were just hungry and needed to eat too.
D. The Talking Sword feels bad for hurting the bugs.
3) Until one day a mysterious dragon steals all the fruits from the land.
A. The Human Villagers freak out and fear starvation.
B. The Slime Creature sees an opportunity to gain respect from everyone.
C. The Talking Sword feels uncertain about facing a menacing dragon.
ACT 2
4) Because of that, the Slime Creature and Talking Sword must make friends with the giant bugs to fight the dragon.
A. The Slime Creature dreams about winning respect from Human Villagers.
B. The Talking Sword argues with the Slime Creature that he’s not strong enough to fight a crazy dragon.
C. The Slime Creature tells him to be quiet.
5) Because of that, the Talking Sword loses motivation because he doesn’t want to deal with even more monsters. He’d rather dream about changing himself into a paintbrush.
A. The Slime Creature reveals that he wanted to be an artist once.
B. But all the Human Villagers told him that creating paintings was useless.
C. They get teary-eyed thinking about their dreams.
D. And finally, they force themselves to fight the dragon.
6) Because of that, the talking sword becomes distracted by his emotions and during a battle with the dragon, his Slime Creature friend gets his arm melted off by the crazy dragon’s fiery breath.
A. The Slime Creature feels like his life is over. He can never fight again without his arm.
B. And the Talking Sword agrees that it was foolish to dream about something he wasn’t meant to be.
ACT 3
7) Until finally, the Talking Sword discovers that his friend’s gooey slime mixed with fruits transforms it into colored paint, which the Talking Sword can use to make artwork.
A. The Talking Sword is inspired and attaches himself to the Slime Creature’s injured shoulder to replace his missing arm.
B. The Slime Creature attaches fur from his helmet to the Talking Sword's handle to create a paintbrush.
8) And ever since then the Talking Sword and Slime Creature make artistic paintings to calm the Crazy Dragon’s wild behavior.
A. The Human Villagers now respect the Slime Creature and his Talking Sword as artists whose work heals the souls of the land.
B. The Talking Sword and Slime Creature swear to support each other forever by listening to their hardships and dreams and encouraging them to take action with each other’s help.
