Hi, my name is Frida and I’m a cat witch! Not a human that turned into a cat that turned into a witch, just a cat that chose to practice magic when I turned one year old. How did I get here? Let me show you…
My mommy had me and my brother Fibo in an old box behind a brick building.
We couldn’t really see anything, but it got cold at night, even though we huddled next to mommy all the time.
There were two peoples that saw us in a box and took us to their bigger box to keep us warm and give us food all day.
Each night at midnight, mommy would use her magic to give us steam baths. She would spin us slowly in the air and tell us stories of the other yellow-eyed cats that looked after all kitties of the world.
She told us when we turned one year old we got to choose to start practicing magic or become non-magic domestic cats.
Mommy warned us to be careful who we showed that we could use magic because not all peoples or hoomans would welcome cats with magic powers.
One of those nights, our peoples caught mommy drying us when we floated in the air. They got scared. They started screaming and kicked her in the air.
The peoples chased my brother Fibo and me out with a broom.
By the time we got downstairs and ran out of the house, we saw that they threw mommy out the window. Mommy wasn’t breathing anymore.
After we lost our mommy, my brother and I had to figure out how to survive in the cold wet streets. We missed mommy and we were hungry, but at least we had each other.
