Once Upon a time there was a nerdy student named Jack.
Every day he worked on his homework, focusing entirely on his school while ignoring pretty much everything and everyone else.
Until one day he stumbled upon a crashed alien ship and met the ships sentient AI.
Because of that he realized how bad the AI was injured and knew he had to take it home to help.
Because of that his strict regimen was upended - the AI, it turns out, was a complete mess.
Because of that Jack kept having to clean up and could never get his work done.
Until finally Jack finally realized that it was more important to help others in your life than to be so inflexible and self centered.
And ever since then Jack has opened up to others, being a better person and making friends along the way.
The moral of the story is to pay attention to the people in your life and not be selfish.
